A living piece of offshore racing's glorious heyday is up for grabs: the original 1987 Apache 47 raced by the legendary team of Ben Kramer (driver), Bob Saccenti (throttleman) and Bob Idoni (navigator). The boat was rigged by Bobby Moore and designed by Mark McManus. The boat is currently owned by World Champion offshore racer Lorne Leibel and being brokered by Jeremy Cohen of Seabound Yachts.

Mercury Marine has announced that company founder Elmer Carl Kiekhaefer was inducted posthumously over the weekend as one of the inaugural inductees into the Wisconsin Sailing & Maritime Hall of Fame at the Wisconsin Maritime Museum.
