The second day of the 2026 Race World Offshore Key West World Championships was another thrilling day of competition, with the second straight win by Tyler Miller and Myrick Coil in Class 1's Monster Energy/M•CON, a victory that also won the team the APBA/UIM World Championship. It was another day of great weather for the event, with few incidents and plenty of nail-biting competition. Here’s a recap of each class:
Class 1: As they did on Wednesday, Tyler Miller and Myrick Coil grabbed the lead and stayed there, claiming both Friday's win and the APBA/UIM World Championship. Kevin Birrell and Billy Moore finished second in Outta Pocket Racing, while Class 1 newcomer Say Less MF with Chad Rudesill and Rusty Williams finished third. Wednesday's second-place finisher, Marine Technology/GC Racing (Willy Cabeza and John Tomlinson) suffered a broken propeller and only completed a couple of laps.
Class 2: 151 Express, with Vinnie Diorio and Sean Conner, was the leader in the class, followed by Miller and Coil in M•CON/HURT! App/Monster Energy in second and Joe Spoloric and Garrett Coonrod in Lake Wylie Racing in third, rounding out the podium. (151 Express had finished in fifth place on Wednesday.) After Friday's race, Team Montlick (Logan Adan and Giovanni Carpitella) had the points to capture the UIM World Championship series.
Super Cat: Repeating their win on Wednesday were Casey Boaz and Rob Unnerstall in CR Racing, who took a commanding lead and once again held off their seven competitors in the class. (The team also accrued the points needed to win the UIM World Championship.) Bill Pyburn and Brit Lilly, who suffered a mechanical issue on Wednesday, resulting in a sixth-place finish, took their Dirty Money entry to second on Friday. Chris Grant and Jay Muller in C.J. Grant Racing/Graydel finished in third place, following up their second-place finish on Wednesday.
Super Stock: After the field of 16 boats got the green flag—with Team Bermuda/GL Construction (David Selley and Steven Bridges) in the lead—only a couple of laps had been completed when Wozencraft (Julian Maldonado and Jeremy Tschida) barrel rolled, resulting in a red flag. After a restart, Team Bermuda/GL Construction captured and maintained the lead, taking the victory and the APBA/UIM World Championship title. Team Celsius (Chris Hopgood and Jay Muller) finished second and Team Allen Lawn Care (Billy Allen and Sabrina Kowalik) finished third. Raymarine, with Cole Leibel and Gary Ballough, took the UIM World Championship.
Modified Vee: Wednesday's second-place finisher, Speed Marine (Kyle Miller and Jay Wohltman), pulled off a flag-to-flag win in their 29' Extreme. Fastboys/NJ Truck King (Ken Bollinger and Dyland Myers) finished second, and Boatfloater.com (Steve and Stephen Kildahl) nabbed its second consecutive third-place finish, unofficially.
Super Vee: Running with the Class 1 competitors, Wazzup Motorsports (Ed "Smitty" Smith and Anthony Smith) repeated its performance from Wednesday, finishing first; DSK Marine and Go GPS Racing/Cortez Cove finished second and third respectively, making it a mirror-image podium from Wednesday. However, race officials later penalized Wazzup for incomplete data, moving DSK Marine to first and Go GPS to second; Wazzup was given third place.
Cat 300: Repeating its performance on Wednesday, Wicked/Lakeside Motorsports took the win over Pantera Mike Racing and Jackhammer.
Extreme: Demon Bikini (Leanna Shadlow and Chad Havens) ran unopposed in the class, competing alongside the Super Cat field.
