CTS Custom Trailers has announced the successful delivery of its first all-aluminum hydraulic tilt trailer to Performance Boat Center and Performance Powerboats for the latest P420—a next-generation high-performance catamaran.
Traditionally, tilt trailers for performance catamarans have been constructed from steel and hot-dip galvanized prior to painting to combat corrosion. While effective, this process often leaves a rough finish beneath the paint, and corrosion can still develop over time without proper maintenance.
CTS has reimagined this standard by introducing an aluminum tilt trailer that combines durability with a cleaner, more refined appearance. The result is a low-maintenance trailer that naturally resists rust, maintains structural integrity, and preserves its aesthetic over time.
This first-of-its-kind aluminum hydraulic tilt trailer features a fully reinforced and ballasted frame designed for optimal safety and balance. It includes an aluminum gooseneck frame with an oversized integrated toolbox and a dedicated control box for the electronic and hydraulic systems.
