The International Hot Rod Association (IHRA) Outlaw Drag Boat Series has appointed Tony Scarlata as the new Series Manager. In this role, Scarlata will oversee all aspects of the racing discipline.

A multi-time National and World Champion drag boat racer since 1990, Scarlata brings decades of elite-level experience, championship pedigree, and deep respect across the drag boat racing community. From the driver’s seat to series leadership, his passion for the sport and commitment to racers is second to none.

With Tony at the helm, the IHRA Outlaw Drag Boat Series is poised for its strongest, most competitive era yet—focused on racer-first leadership, growth, and next-level competition.
