South Florida Boat Center and SOFLO Boats have announced the addition of Brittany Dunn-Chrisco to their team in Fort Lauderdale, FL. She brings nearly 16 years of experience in the marine industry, an extensive network of industry relationships, and a deep understanding of everything from high-performance boats to yachts.
Throughout her career, Chrisco has developed a reputation for knowing the boating industry from the inside out. Her experience spans the performance V-bottom and catamaran markets, luxury and high-performance center consoles, day cruisers, yachts, sport fish vessels, yacht tenders and more. Her philosophy is simple: “If it floats and has an engine, I’m your girl.”
Chrisco brings far more to her clients than simply helping them sell or find and purchase a boat. She describes herself as “a real estate agent on the water” someone who listens carefully to what her clients want and need, understands how they plan to use their boat, and helps guide them through the entire process from the initial search to ownership and beyond. She offers the same drive and ambition when it comes to representing selling your boat.
With years of experience in customer service, Chrisco has built lasting relationships with her clients, many of whom have become close friends. Her approach is intentionally personal, responsive, and no-pressure. She prides herself on answering
her clients' calls, texts, and emails and being available when they need her. “I’m not a salesy person," she says. "I want to listen to my clients, understand what they’re looking for, and help them find the right boat—not just sell them a boat. My goal
is for every client to feel like they have someone in their corner long after the transaction is complete.”
Chrisco's appointment comes just as South Florida Boat Center is about to host a Mercury Engine Demo Event, described as "an upgrade and a game changer." The event will be held Saturday, Oct. 24 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Fort Lauderdale location: 800 Old Griffin Road, Dania Beach, FL. Attendees will be able to participate in sea trials, experience engine demos, visit Mercury's mobile marketing truck, consult with repower experts and more. In addition, food and music will be offered all day long, and there will be giveaways to those in attendance.
Over the years, Brittany has also developed close relationships with numerous major manufacturers and professionals throughout the boating industry. Her connections allow her to communicate directly with boat builders and industry professionals, giving her clients access to knowledge and resources that can make the buying process more seamless.
And her network doesn't stop once the boat is purchased. From service and parts to accessories, transportation, storage, customization, and everything in between, she has spent years developing relationships with people throughout the marine industry. Her philosophy has become: “I always know a guy.” Whether a client needs a trusted service provider, a specific part, a transporter, storage, accessories, or help navigating an unexpected issue, Chrisco works to connect them with the right people and resources. As the boating industry continues to evolve, she remains active and engaged, constantly staying up to date on the latest boats, technology, performance advancements, manufacturers, and trends. She can often be found out on the water, at boat shows, visiting manufacturers, or simply networking throughout the marine community.
Her new role with South Florida Boat Center and SOFLO Boats gives her the opportunity to combine that experience and network with the companies' presence in the South Florida boating market and beyond.
