East meets West as SLT Collection (Fort Lauderdale, FL) strengthens its coast-to-coast presence by partnering with DCB Performance Marine (Phoenix, AZ), bridging the nation with DCB's renowned craftsmanship and high-performance catamarans.

This latest collaboration builds on an established foundation. Since 2011, Conrad has partnered with Wally Castro of Wally Castro Marine (based in Puerto Rico) to create Cigarette of South Florida—a joint venture with offices at Grove Harbor Marina. Wally Castro Marine is a major player in the industry, representing eight or nine major boat lines in Puerto Rico with a team of 65 employees. Their successful collaboration on Cigarette Racing has paved the way for more.
Now, Conrad and Castro are expanding that partnership by bringing additional brands into the fold under a new joint venture division. DCB Performance Marine will be a key part of this next phase, following many years of personal and professional collaboration between Conrad and DCB Vice President Tony Chiaramonte.
"We're building more of a presence here in Florida," said Chiaramonte at the Miami Boat Show. "I've known Scott for decades. SLT is going to help us with that. Here, you'll be able to see and run our boats. It's just a very high-end shop, and they're going to be our East Coast connection."
Conrad echoed the excitement: "We're getting ready for the start of the Mercury Racing Sea Trials," he said from the Miami show while standing on the new DCB M42. "I'm really excited to be working with Tony and the gang from DCB. We've had over a 20-year relationship and have had a lot of great experiences working and racing together. We're looking forward to the next phase of that partnership."
Expanding on the partnership between Wally Castro Marine and SLT Collection—which began with Cigarette of South Florida—the two are now bringing the DCB brand into this joint venture moving forward. While the exact name for the new division is still in discussion (potentially something along the lines of Conrad-Castro Marine Racing), the focus remains clear: delivering more world-class performance boats to enthusiasts in the East and beyond through SLT's high-end Florida operation.
