Two Team Woody competitors once again took the checkered flag as the second day of Race World Offshore’s World Championships in Key West kicked off. It was a repeat win for each team in their classes: Billy Shipley and Chad Woody in Class 3, and Micheal Stancombe and JJ Turk in Class 5.

The day began with this first of four races, which saw six bracket classes running together—all of which featured repeat winners. In Bracket Class 1, #147 Cigarette Justice League ran unopposed; Bracket Class 2 competitors will run later this afternoon.

In Bracket Class 3, Shipley and Woody took the unofficial win, repeating their Wednesday victory, beating #350 Rollin’ Dirty.

In Bracket Class 4, the 40′ Velocity GNS Motorsports also took its second win of the week, as Grant Greytok and Bill Reeves beat Simmons Marine, which actually led in the Class for the first couple of laps. The class also saw a brand-new competitor: BoatRacingExperience.com, which had not raced on Wednesday. It took third place.

In Bracket Class 5, Team Woody nabbed a repeat victory, this time against Bulletproof, another new competitor. Papamigos apparently did not compete today.

In Bracket Class 6, #688 Southern Arbor Services also took a repeat victory against Gerard Marine, which finished second.

Finally, in Bracket Class 7, Jackhammer took a repeat win against #90 Gallagher Marine.

Stay tuned for results in three additional races later today.
