It has taken me a while to put everything together, but I am finally getting my business up and running. I've been building boats for other people since the late '80's, now it is my turn to build for myself.
The first is kind of a simple design, one color on the deck, three on the hull. Nothing too complicated. Here is the sketch.

I brought the deck mold in and gave it a good shine, and plenty of wax.

    Then sprayed it basic red.

Then got to work laying up the fiberglass.

Now on to cleaning up and reworking the hull mold.

First make the outside look nice.

Followed by lots of wet sanding and polishing.

Here is a better shot of the hull mold. So far, this is the smallest of all the molds I have. Figured I would start here and work my way up. Lots of sanding and buffing needed.
